The Economy is Bad

5/22/2022

There is no doubt that since 2021, the economy has gotten worse.  There is no doubt that all the actions taken regarding Covid were wrong.  There are far too many research and studies now disproving pretty much everything the government did including lockdowns, masks, and shots.

Because of those actions for Covid, the supply chain was disrupted.  It's never truly recovered.  Then a California law went into effect that stated trucks used to load/unload cargo must be 3 years old or newer.  It decimated the dock system.  China also started shutting down its ports due to Covid.  This created even more supply chain disruptions.

Then, in 2021, oil and gas leases were shut down or denied.  Pipeline work was stopped.  We were energy independent until then. Now, we are not.  Gasoline has skyrocketed and there is no end in sight.

The economy has gradually gotten worse, food prices steadily increased, and neither is going to stop this year.

What to do?  Make the best of things and keep your hopes alive. Even tenuous hope is better than none.  Find like minded people to get together.  Friends and family, too.  In other religious organizations, you might hear something like praying together.  It's a societal thing to keep spirits uplifted.  It works.

Plan ahead as much as you can.  If you haven't started a budget, try one.  Cutting back on extra spending can help keep you afloat throughout this year and next.  Plan for 2 1/2 years more of this.  This year is already done.  There is no coming back from what's happening.  And we would need to turn things around for it to effect next year.  So, we're going to see bad times through 2022 and 2023.  With any hope, 2023 will allow things to turn around and let 2024 be much, much better.  But, for now, plan ahead.

There are a lot of blogs and Internet sites out there regarding growing small gardens even in the city.  Balcony gardens, plants in buckets, hydroponic gardening, etc.  Even in apartment complexes, you can grow food.

Buy some silver.  Even just a little bit.  If the dollar goes down in value, silver coins will not.

This is spring and summer.  Take advantage of nice days and get outside.  Find activities to do.  Because winter will be here before you know it and winter always brings people down with cold temps and grey skies.  Get things situated before that happens so winter won't affect you as badly.

Things will get worse before they get better.  Plan accordingly.

The Nature of Things

5/8/2022

“There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy”

A famous quote from Shakespeare's Hamlet.  If we believe in God, Heaven, and Angels, then we must also believe the possibilities of many other things that science has not been able to "prove".

Years ago, physicists put forth a theory that they "knew" there was something that was there but they couldn’t see it, find it, or prove it.  Based upon their knowledge and history of the field of physics, they "knew" there was something there.  To them, it was a "ghost".  It was many years later that technology finally caught up enough that they were able to start proving their "beliefs".

Even in science, blind faith and belief can be found.  Don't discount something because you can't see, hear, smell, taste, or feel it.  Keep an open mind.  You can believe there are angels watching over you but not believe in ghosts?  Believe in God and Satan but not demons?  What is really out there?  If your mind is closed, you will never see the signs.  What we can't see or hear today may only need another ten years for technology to improve.  If someone from 500 AD jumped forward to today, most of the world would be viewed as "magic" to them.  Unexplainable phenomenon.  What then would we see if we jumped 2000 years into the future?  "Magic" or just things that we have yet to be able to physically prove or explain?

Open the mind to possibilities and the world will reveal itself.

Critical Thinking About Global Warming

5/1/2022

This is an exercise in how "science" is not science and how "critical thinking" has been removed from science to create an agenda.

There have been many articles and papers about Global Warming melting the ice in Antarctica.  I won't list them as an Internet search of "Antarctica Climate Change" results in many pages.

First, it's noteworthy that the average temperature of the Earth has remained stable for the last 20 years while Carbon Dioxide levels have steadily risen.  Doesn't that sort of put a huge red X in any theory that CO2 is the driving force behind Global Warming?

Now, let's focus on the ice melting in the Antarctic as an exercise in critical thinking.  How many of the articles and published research that talks about temperatures rising and ice melting in the Antarctic have pointed to active volcanoes in that area?  Not many.  Extremely few.  And definitely none of the more prominent ones used by The Media, Politicians, or the UN.  There are a lot of active volcanoes under the Antarctic.  Read the blurbs below (and the links are to the articles) about it.  Those underwater volcanoes are a much more plausible theory of rising temps in the Antarctic than CO2.  Why aren't the Media, the UN, and politicians bringing up these points? What other scientific evidence has been left out?  Volcanoes may not be the reason behind the warming.  There might be a multitude of reasons.  How many articles, blurbs, tweets, research have been in the spotlight by the Media, politicians, UN, etc that have shown any of this? Why not?

Where is the science?  Isn't it supposed to be looking at everything?  Which is more likely to happen in the Antarctic, active volcanos with magma nearly reaching the surface causing a warming trend or flat lined temperatures across the Earth with rising CO2 levels causing ice to melt?

Think through things with a critical mind.  Do not trust those who have shown to be either compromised or pushing an agenda.  There have been far too many published materials that have left out important truths just to try to convince the population of an ideal or an agenda. Stop being swayed by this and start taking a very healthy mentally critical look at what information is being pushed.  Deceit and lies are toxic to mental stability.  Free Your Mind.

Mystery Antarctic 'swarm' of 85,000 earthquakes 'was triggered by magma from a long-dormant underwater volcano'
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-10762631/Massive-earthquake-swarm-hit-Antarctica-2020-study-says.html
"A 'swarm' of 85,000 earthquakes in Antarctica that lasted about six months in 2020 was triggered by magma from an underwater volcano, a new study says.
The swarm occurred at Orca Seamount, a deep-sea volcano near King George Island in Antarctica, in the Bransfield Strait, which has been inactive for 'a long time'.
Researchers have used seismometers and remote sensing techniques to determine how long the swarm lasted, and what caused it.
Swarm quakes mainly occur in volcanically active regions, so the movement of magma in the Earth's crust is therefore suspected as the cause.
During the swarm, ground on neighbouring King George Island moved 4.3 inches (11cm) - suggesting a 'finger' of magma almost reached the surface, the scientists report in their new study. "

ARLINGTON, Va.—Scientists working in the stormy and inhospitable waters off the Antarctic Peninsula have found what they believe is an active and previously unknown volcano on the sea bottom.
The international science team from the United States and Canada mapped and sampled the ocean floor and collected video and data that indicate a major volcano exists on the Antarctic continental shelf, they announced on May 5 in a dispatch from the research vessel Laurence M. Gould, which is operated by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
NSF is an independent federal agency that supports fundamental research and education across all fields of science and engineering, with an annual budget of nearly $5.58 billion. NSF manages the U.S. Antarctic Program, which coordinates U.S. scientific research on the southernmost continent and in the Southern Ocean.
Evidence of the volcano came as an unintended bonus from a research plan to investigate why a massive ice sheet, known as the Larsen B, collapsed and broke up several years ago. Scientists hope to understand whether such a collapse is unique or part of a cycle that extends over hundreds of thousands of years.
Scientific evidence the team collected also corroborates mariners' reports of discolored water in the area, which is consistent with an active volcano."

Hidden Volcanoes Melt Antarctic Glaciers from Below
By Stephanie Pappas published June 09, 2014
https://www.livescience.com/46194-volcanoes-melt-antarctic-glaciers.html
"Antarctica is a land of ice. But dive below the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, and you'll find fire as well, in the form of subglacial volcanoes.
Now, a new study finds that these subglacial volcanoes and other geothermal "hotspots" are contributing to the melting of Thwaites Glacier, a major river of ice that flows into Antarctica's Pine Island Bay. Areas of the glacier that sit near geologic features thought to be volcanic are melting faster than regions farther away from hotspots, said Dustin Schroeder, the study's lead author and a geophysicist at the University of Texas at Austin.
This melting could significantly affect ice loss in the West Antarctic, an area that is losing ice quickly."

and

"Researchers have long known that volcanoes lurk under the ice of West Antarctica. This is a seismically active region, where East and West Antarctica are rifting apart. In 2013, a team of scientists even found a new volcano beneath the West Antarctic Ice Sheet.
West Antarctica is also hemorrhaging ice due to climate change, and recent studies have suggested there is no way to reverse the retreat of West Antarctic glaciers. However, the timing of this retreat is still in question, Schroeder said — it could take hundreds of years, or thousands. It's important to understand which, given that meltwater from the West Antarctic Ice Sheet contributes directly to sea level rise.
Scientists use computer models to try to predict the future of the ice sheet, but their lack of understanding of subglacial geothermal energy has been a glaring gap in these models. Measuring geothermal activity under the ice sheet is so difficult that researchers usually just enter one, uniform estimate for the contributions of geothermal heat to melting, Schroeder said.
Of course, volcanism isn't uniform. Geothermal hotspots no doubt influence melting more in some areas than in others."

Huge Underwater Volcanoes Discovered Near Antarctica
By Andrea Mustain published July 12, 2011
https://www.livescience.com/15006-underwater-volcanoes-discovered-antarctica.html
"A string of a dozen volcanoes, at least several of them active, has been found beneath the frigid seas near Antarctica, the first such discovery in that region.
Some of the peaks tower nearly 10,000 feet (3,000 meters) above the ocean floor — nearly tall enough to break the water's surface.
"That's a big volcano. That's a very big volcano. If that was on land it would be quite remarkable," said Philip Leat, a vulcanologist with the British Antarctic Survey who led a seafloor mapping expedition to the region in 2007 and 2010.
The group of 12 underwater mountains lies south of the South Sandwich Islands"
NOTE: South Sandwich Islands are near the Antarctic Peninsula.

Global Warming aka Climate Change Headlines (Still being published as of 2022)

Global Warming aka Climate Change shows us "Impacts on the natural environment"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_change_in_Antarctica
"Research published in 2009 found that overall the continent had become warmer since the 1950s, a finding consistent with the influence of man-made climate change: "We can't pin it down, but it certainly is consistent with the influence of greenhouse gases from fossil fuels", said NASA scientist Drew Shindell, another study co-author. Some of the effects also could be natural variability, he said."  (https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna28693329)

Global Warming aka Climate Change shows us "Warming in Antarctica"
https://scied.ucar.edu/learning-zone/climate-change-impacts/warming-antarctica
"While the Arctic has consistently warmed as global climate changes, the impacts in the Antarctic are more complex.
   Temperature on the Antarctic Peninsula
The Antarctic Peninsula, the part of Antarctica furthest from the South Pole, has been warming rapidly, five times faster than the global average.  Between 1950 and 2000, the Antarctic Peninsula warmed 2.8°C (5.0°F). That's more warming than anywhere else in the Southern Hemisphere."

Global Warming aka Climate Change shows us "IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE".
https://discoveringantarctica.org.uk/challenges/sustainability/impacts-of-climate-change/
"Antarctica has experienced air temperature increases of 3°C in the Antarctic Peninsula. Although that might not seem very much, it is 5 times the mean rate of global warming as reported by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)."

Global Warming aka Climate Change shows us "Climate Crisis in Antarctica".
https://www.asoc.org/campaign/climate-crisis-in-antarctica/
"Antarctica is at a crossroads. The global climate crisis is interrupting natural processes across large parts of Antarctica and the Southern Ocean.
As we stand on the brink of catastrophic change, the actions we take over the next decade will determine the course of human civilization for generations.
The polar regions are the first to be affected by the heating climate, and dramatic changes are already underway in Antarctica.
Floating ice shelves are melting rapidly, raising concerns about sudden, uncontrollable sea level rise. The Antarctic Peninsula, a popular tourist destination, is one of the most rapidly warming places in the Southern Hemisphere, with average summer temperatures increasing by over 5°F (3°C) between 1970 and 2020.
Since the 1970s the Southern Ocean has absorbed as much as 75 percent of the excess heat created by humans, and 40 percent of the carbon dioxide."

Global Warming aka Climate Change shows us "1000-year Antarctic Peninsula climate reconstruction provides new insight into accelerating ice melt"
https://phys.org/news/2013-04-year-antarctic-peninsula-climate-reconstruction.html
"A new 1000-year Antarctic Peninsula climate reconstruction shows that summer ice melting has intensified almost ten-fold, and mostly since the mid 20th Century. Summer ice melt affects the stability of Antarctic ice shelves and glaciers.
The research, published this week in the journal Nature Geoscience, adds new knowledge to the international effort that is required to understand the causes of environmental change in Antarctica and to make more accurate projections about the direct and indirect contribution of Antarctica's ice shelves and glaciers to global sea level rise."
