The body is the outward appearance of everything. It is the physical manifestation of your being. While we are born on Earth, we have a physical body that directly influences our mind and spirit. Keeping the body healthy allows the mind and spirit to grow. They are all intertwined.
Even beyond the religious, there are scientific studies that show physical exercise affects the mind and spirit in positive ways. For physical exercising, there are many options: aerobics, tai chi, yoga, bicycling, walking, hiking. Being outdoors can be invigorating at times.
Eating correctly is one of the hardest choices in life. There are far too many studies and research that say this or that is healthy or not healthy. One thing that does shine through is moderation. Eating in moderation is usually good. A balanced choice of foods can also be good. Highly processed foods should be avoided.
